So guess what? I have recently started reading at local spoken word open mikes and did my virgin voyage at the Mother Tongue Open Mike @ Black Cat in December. What a great crew of virgin & seasoned artists. I was sooo nervous. Being in the same show with Karen Finneyfrock and Natalie Ilum was an honor.
